Transfer market: €2m, a blow for the Stade de Reims!

The leaders of the Stade de Reims were quick to anticipate the future departure of the excellent Predrag Rajkovic during this summer transfer window, by formalizing the arrival of Patrick Pentz, who had achieved an impressive performance with the national team of Austria against the French team in the Nations League last month.

But if the Serbian international goalkeeper (28 selections) does not lack a priori requests, one year from the end of his contract with the Stade de Reims, no concrete offer has so far lived up to the expectations of the leaders of the Champagne club chaired by Jean-Pierre Caillot…

However, according to the information of our colleagues from the newspaper The team, an agreement would have been found between the leaders of the SDR and their counterparts in Mallorca for the transfer of Predrag Rajkovic… for around 2.5M€. That’s €2 million less than what the residents of Stade Auguste-Delaune had hoped for!

After checking the name of the Brazilian goalkeeper of LOSC, Leo Jardim, Mallorca finally set their sights on the titular goalkeeper of the national team of Serbia, for “only” 2.5M € spent. A mini blow for the Rémois who will be quickly forgotten especially by the big sale made with Hugo Ekitike at PSG on this summer transfer window.

As a reminder, the management of the Stade de Reims had paid 5 million euros to recruit the native of Negotin in Serbia, during the transfer market in 2019 when the latter played in Israel at Maccabi Tel Aviv.
