Jordy Tutuarima will leave De Graafschap on a free transfer. “The offer of The County was good, but not negotiable,” says agent Menno Groenveld.
De Graafschap submitted a proposal to Tutuarima to extend his expiring contract, but the left back did not respond to that in the end. He will leave the club on a free transfer after four seasons.
“Jordy is leaving De Graafschap because he has other ambitions,” Groenveld told FootballFirst. “He would like to play at a beautiful club in the Eredivisie or abroad. De Graafschap’s offer was good, but not negotiable.”
“Jordy did not want to go into it yet and take his time to make a good choice. De Graafschap did not give him that time. He had a good time, but it is time for something new,” says Groenveld.
Tutuarima already said goodbye to De Graafschap on Instagram. ‘I want to thank everyone who has supported De Graafschap year in and year out. And so do me and my family. And I will never forget that. This beautiful club will always be special to me. Thanks again and I hope you will return as soon as possible where you belong and that is the Eredivisie.’
