Tramway construction affects traffic in Lindholmsallén
From Monday 8 April, bus and car traffic will be allowed to coexist in the same lane in Lindholmsallén. Expect queues and longer journey times, regardless of whether you drive, cycle, walk or take public transport.
Since last autumn, the construction of a new tramway and city bus line between Lindholmen and Frihamnen has been underway. This has affected traffic in the area, including in Lindholmsallén.
From Monday 8 April, the bus lanes in the middle of the avenue will be closed, so that car and bus traffic can merge in one lane in each direction. Even pedestrian and bicycle traffic may periodically need to be redirected. Both car users and public transport travelers can count on queues and longer journey times, especially during rush hour in the morning and afternoon.

Changed driving routes and modes of travel
To facilitate public transport, some bus lines have already had their routes changed via Andromedagatan. Regnbågsgatan stop is permanently withdrawn. In the spring, a new free ferry line will start running between Stenpiren and the new Lundbystrand stop.
Those who must take the car are recommended to choose one of the parking lots north of Lindholmen or at Frihamnen.
