A tram driver was assaulted by four boys in Zoetermeer last night, the police reported. The suspects have not yet been traced.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. at the Centrum West stop of the RandstadRail. According to the police, the man confronted the boys because they were blocking the elevator with an electric scooter. “Almost immediately the tram driver was attacked from several sides by the four,” the police said. The victim was taken to hospital, reports said Broadcasting West.
