Several tram departures have been delayed from seven to as much as 50 minutes in Oslo today, communications advisor at Sporveien, Jan Rustad, told Dagbladet.
When Dagbladet calls him at 8 p.m., it is for now delays on line 19which goes down Bogstadveien.
– We have registered up to twelve incorrect parkings there today, says Rustad.
– Is it normal to have so many wrong parkings in one day?
– No, fortunately not. This is probably due to all the snow that has come, and that the street race has become narrow.
– What do you do when cars block the tram like this?
– After we have called and made a bit of noise, and tried to get hold of the car owner, we call the traffic manager. Then a car comes from there and assesses the situation. A fine is then written and a tow truck is called if the car owner does not show up.
