(ANSA) – DRESSING ROOM, APRIL 12 – He takes the hunting dogs to a field to train them but is stabbed by the owner with a blow to the upper chest area. It happened yesterday afternoon, around 6pm, in the locality of Fiume a Pieve Torina (Macerata). The perpetrator of the attack, a 64-year-old man, was then identified and stopped by the Carabinieri of the Camerino Company, led by Captain Angelo Faraca, and arrested on charges of attempted murder. In the next few days the arrest will be validated for the attacker who in the meantime has been transferred to the Montacuto prison in Ancona. According to an initial reconstruction, in the area where the injured man, 44 years old, took his dogs for training, a sort of reserve had been set up specifically for that purpose through an agreement with the owners of the land in the area: each dog was made to smell a fake prey, with an exercise of about 15-20 minutes each, to prepare them to identify game. An activity that was not too invasive and agreed upon, but which the owner of the plot evidently did not like. This apparently gave rise to a heated argument with the 44-year-old, resulting in the stab wound which could have had much more serious results because the blow was practically delivered to the chest. The police were immediately notified and 118 alerted while the attacker walked away. The injured man was assisted and transported to Camerino hospital. The 64-year-old, however, was stopped shortly afterwards by the Carabinieri and arrested, and did not provide any version of events to the Carabinieri, instead remaining silent. (HANDLE).
