Sharjah, 26 October / WAM / The “Sharjah Consultative Council Elections Management Committee for the year 2023” organized a training workshop for the executive employees of the electoral centers, as part of its preparations for the second phase of the elections, which is dedicated to registering candidates, and its keenness to raise the efficiency of employees regarding the conduct of election work.
The workshop – which was held at the Council’s headquarters – shed light on the registration procedures for candidates and the conditions for candidacy for Council membership, which begin on October 31 and continue until November 2, in addition to an explanation of the second phase of the elections, especially the candidate registration phase, how to implement this phase efficiently, and the conditions for candidacy.
At its conclusion, the workshop touched on the organizational distribution of work in the electoral district, the distribution of roles and powers, and the speed of completion.
