DESMA is an international company in the field of special machine construction. In short: We create solutions in shoe factories. Training has a long and successful tradition at DESMA. What is special is an open atmosphere towards new ideas, appreciation of each individual employee and highly specialized specialists who are happy to pass on their knowledge to the next generation. When training starts in 2024, we will be welcoming 10 new trainees. We are looking forward to an exciting and educational training period and wish everyone a successful start to their training at DESMA.

On August 1, 2024, eleven young people started their professional lives at the Eggers car dealership. Training supervisors and management accompanied them. This year, the car dealership can welcome three trainees to become automotive salesmen in the commercial sector. Seven trainees are starting their training as automotive mechatronics technicians and one trainee has opted for training as a warehouse logistics specialist. The Eggers car dealership is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and is represented in Verden with four locations and the Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brands. As a professional mobility partner, it offers its customers, whether private or commercial, everything from a single source: sales of new and used cars, fleet management, service, parts service, short and long-term rentals and accident repairs in its own body and paint shop.

On August 1st, twelve trainees started their vocational training as bank clerks at the Kreissparkasse Verden. First, they go through a start-up seminar lasting several days, which is held jointly by employees and trainees in the second year of training. After the start-up days, the “newcomers” then go directly to their training stations in the branches, where their colleagues are already eagerly awaiting them. As one of the largest training providers in the district, the Kreissparkasse Verden offers a varied training program. Specialist knowledge is not only imparted in the vocational school, but also in internal classes. In seminars, training courses and project work, the trainees can work independently and innovatively. The application process for the start of training on August 1st, 2025 is already underway.

Training plays a crucial role in the future – both for the trainees and for the companies that employ them. elektro-wolters GmbH is pleased to welcome three new trainees and a retrainee to the team. Joel Apelt, Fynn-Luca Herzog and Antonio Gualtieri (missing from the photo) started their training as electronics technicians specializing in energy and building technology on August 1st. We were able to welcome Rebecca Schygiel to our team in April 2024 as a retrainee to become an electronics technician specializing in energy and building technology. Apprenticeship officer Maximilian Baschta and junior manager Yannik Wolters welcomed the four to the team. elektro-wolters is also offering apprenticeships again for the coming year.
