Training Center (Cimfep) of Nkok: release of the first vintage this Friday. – AGP

Libreville, June 9, 2023 (AGP)- The International Multisectoral Center for Vocational Training and Education (Cimfep) in Nkok (27km from Libreville) honors its first graduates this Friday, June 9, on the occasion of the celebration of its first anniversary, organized through open days from June 8 to 10.

The Ministry of Vocational Training, Apprenticeship, responsible for the integration of young people and the International Multisectoral Center for Vocational Training and Education (Cimfep), are organizing open days for three days, from June 8 to 10 within the said center located in the Special Industry Zone (ZIS) of Nkok, in order to educate the public on the trades of industry.

Organized under the theme: training = a job = a decent job “, these open days are intended not only to take stock of the first two years of Cimfep, to discover innovations in the diversity of Cimfep’s offers, but also to create a framework for exchange between economic operators and the Cimfep.

To this end, companies, students and parents of students are expected during these three days at the Cimfep of Nkok.

At the same time, Cimfep also celebrates the release of its first promotion which coincides with its first anniversary.

With a capacity of 1,000 learners, Cimfep offers training in the industry sector. These include, among others, refrigeration and air conditioning engineering, automobile mechanics, mechanical engineering and industrial design, etc.

The result of a partnership between the Gabonese State and the Chinese group Avic International Holding Corp, the Cimfep would have cost the State nearly 25 billion FCFA and was inaugurated on April 9, 2021, three years after the installation of the first stone.

Built on 25 hectares, this center represents the realization and the will of the Head of State to rethink vocational training to make it a tool of choice for the development of Gabonese youth.
