sport">AMSTERDAM – Former goalkeeper Pim Doesburg, who died at the age of 77, was one of the marathon men of Dutch football. Already in 1962, Doesburg made his debut for Sparta in the Eredivisie as an 18-year-old, the start of an impressive career, which he ended at PSV in 1987 as a 43-year-old. In the meantime, he has kept 687 games and with that, Doesburg has an Eredivisie record. After that he was also a goalkeeper coach at Sparta, Feyenoord and the Dutch national team for twenty years.
