Training and safety, virtuous companies rewarded

An objective achieved, the result of widespread and painstaking “team” work. The first concrete results are already being achieved after the renewal of the Provincial Collective Agreement signed by last June 3rd Ance Aies Salerno with the president Fabio Napoli and the trade union organizations represented by the provincial secretaries Luca Daniele for Fillea Cgil, Giuseppe Marchesano for Filca Cisl and Patrizia Spinelli of Feneal Uil. Hundreds of companies in the construction sector in the province of Salerno have in fact taken advantage of the important opportunity to access the incentives provided for by the Provincial Collective Agreement, recently renewed, and provided by the Construction Fund led by president Valeria Rainone. Part of the contributions paid were returned to “virtuous” companies, in line with the established parameters; 747 Salerno companies awarded, the total amount disbursed was €693,550.59.

In view of the employers’ economic commitments deriving from the contractual renewal, the Cassa Edile Salernitana has recognized a specific reward for the benefit of virtuous and deserving companies, the discipline of which is well specified within the new contract which contains the conditions of access and the terms of recognition, subject to verification of compliance with the established conditions.

«We have paid great attention to the quality of the company, to the training and safety of the workers, pushing and encouraging Salerno construction companies – points out the president Ance Salerno, Fabio Napoli – e thanks to the synergy created with the trade unions we have laid the foundations for this important goal achieved. It is necessary, in this context, to underline the attention paid to the matter by the Cassa Edile governed by the president Valeria Rainone. A virtuous circle has been created thanks to the tools put in place; now there is a system between supply and demand that also facilitates youth employment. The common will – underlines Fabio Napoli – is to focus on the redevelopment of the sector and on workplace safety, supporting companies that operate legally, keeping in mind the centrality of construction for the economy, and then directing the production system towards higher levels of workplace safety , regularity, environmental sustainability and legality. The rewards have been increased, in terms of reduction of some items of the contribution to be paid to the Building Fund, for those companies – concludes the president of ANCE Aies Salerno – which have demonstrated regularity in the payment of contributions and punctual fulfillment of the relevant legal obligations training and safety. Ultimately, the companies that act in the area in a serious and concrete way, that invest in legality, training and safety which have always been the founding principles of our companies, will be rewarded».
