Shakhtar appoints assistant from Feyenoord as head coach
Shakhtar Donetsk signs Marino Pusic from Feyenoord. Arne Slot’s assistant at Feyenoord succeeds the recently dismissed Patrick van Leeuwen in Ukraine.
In the eyes of technical director Dario Srna, Pusic (52) was, like Pusic, a Croat, the man who should take Shakhtar Donetsk by the hand. Feyenoord cooperated in Pusic’s departure, but will receive a lump sum payment to terminate the ongoing contract of Slot’s right-hand man.
