Can you imagine if the Pokémon trainers of each generation dressed as the starting Pokémon they chose? Some great fanart lead us to that assumption and the result is very interesting.
Much has happened since the first generation of Pokémon came to GameBoy in the nineties. Each generation of Pokémon has been marked by passing in different regions and by introducing a myriad of new pocket monsters to throw the Pokéball at during our adventure or to exchange with our friends. It also introduced us to several starter Pokémon that would be our main companions for much of the adventure, a difficult decision that some came to regret after advancing in the game.
These starter Pokémon from each region used to be some of the most powerful on most teams of the most seasoned trainers, and we always kept them with that touch of nostalgia of “it was first.”
So much so, that the digital artist Tuna has imagined what the trainers dressed in the appearance of the Starter Pokémon of each generation in its maximum evolutions. With a characteristically anime twist, Tuna has introduced each generation of coaches and caused us a bit of nostalgia.
