This autumn, the Cologne Lawyers’ Association, the Cologne Regional Court and the Cologne Bar Association are once again inviting all trainees to their cyclical series of events:
Traineeship – and then what?
On October 10th from 6 p.m. all interested parties have the opportunity to learn about the work as a lawyer directly in the Canteen of the Cologne Regional Court (4th floor), Luxemburger Straße 101, 50939 Cologne to provide very practical information.
Four speakers and a moderator will report on their entry into the profession and their work as lawyers in various models of professional practice; the models as a sole practitioner and the activities in small, medium and large law firms will be examined in detail – also with a view to the various legal areas.

- Attorney Dr. Jörg Luxem, Partner at LHP Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater (corporate law, tax law, mediation),
- Attorney Patrick Baumfalk, Baumfalk Law Firm (Employment Law, IT Law, Data Protection Law, Intellectual Property Law)
- Attorney Denise Gerull, partner at sommer.legal (criminal law)
The event will be moderated by attorney Lara Itschert, partner at CBH Rechtsanwälte and board member of the Cologne Lawyers’ Association, who is active in European aid and procurement law, procurement law and grant law.
Following the panel discussion, in addition to the speakers, other representatives of the judiciary and legal profession will be available for immediate discussion and to answer your questions over drinks and a small snack.
