The SNCB announced this Sunday morning on its website that rail traffic was interrupted between the stations of Lille Flandres and Mouscron.
The cause of this “disturbance” on the network comes from a faulty cable. The Mont-à-Leux level crossing had to be temporarily closed, while waiting for the rail agents to carry out the repair work.
The intervention was very fast: one hour after having signaled the interruption of rail traffic, traffic was able to resume this Sunday noon. A replacement bus had been put in place for commuters.
