SCHIPHOL – A train with about 250 people stranded this afternoon in the Schiphol tunnel. There were problems with the power supply. The air conditioning therefore did not work.

As a result, ProRail decided to proceed with the evacuation of the people, as prescribed in the heat plan. The travelers have now been put on another train and have been able to continue their journey.
A tube from the Schiphol tunnel is still out of use. As a result, according to ProRail, only limited train traffic is possible between Leiden and Hoofddorp.
