Train punctuality was 89.2% last year. A year earlier it was still 92.6 percent and two years ago it was 93.6 percent.
In other words: more than one in ten trains run with a delay of at least six minutes. Trains arriving at their terminal station less than six minutes late are considered to be on time.
More than 44,000 trains were also canceled last year. If this is also taken into account, punctuality drops to 86.3%.
