Train in Ghent temporarily shut down after monkey pox report: “Risk of contamination is very low”

A train has been evacuated in the station of Gent-Sint-Pieters after a report of the monkey pox virus. When the train conductor wanted to check the tickets of some travelers, he noticed symptoms of the monkey pox virus. “If the travelers with symptoms are effectively carriers of monkey pox, then there is still little risk of infection for the other travelers,” says Joris Moonens of the Agency for Care and Health.
