Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) – Unlimited travel through Germany on regional trains, subways or buses: the 9-euro ticket for local public transport will be sold throughout Hesse from Monday. Several transport associations and also the railways want to offer the cheap ticket, which will be valid from June 1st, at their machines and counters. This was announced by the transport associations RMV and NVV after the green light from the Bundestag and Bundesrat last week for the project. In Darmstadt and the surrounding area, HEAG mobilo and in Frankfurt the Frankfurter Verkehrsgesellschaft (VGF) started selling on Saturday.
