Dozens of people attended the funeral of the train driver of KA 350 Commuter Line Bandung Raya, Julian Dwi Setiyono, one of the victims who died in a train crash in Cicalengka. Tears of emotion enveloped Julian’s funeral process.
Reported detikJabar, Saturday (6/1/2024), Julian’s body was buried at Legok Astana TPU, Ngamprah, West Bandung Regency, on Friday (5/1) evening. Family, friends and colleagues accompanied the late Julian to his final resting place.
Julian’s childhood friend, Brahma Adi Prasetia (26) was one of the people present at Julian’s funeral. He couldn’t stop his tears from breaking out since he first heard the news that his best friend had died in a train accident.
Brahma said he had a close relationship with Julian since childhood. Julian is one of his five closest friends.
“Yes, I still can’t believe it, the loss for sure. We were five friends, now we have lost one person,” said Brahma after the funeral.
Brahma said childhood memories suddenly emerged when he received the news that Julian had died. He remembered Julian as a pleasant person.
“Remember how good he used to be, he was also mischievous. Until we finally separated, we hadn’t seen him for 2 years. Now he’s even better, especially after getting married,” said Brahma.
