However “traffic is significantly slowed down and some trains experience delays, cancellations and changes to circulation“.
Of the canceled high-speed and Intercity trains, 4 left Rome and were headed to Naples, Milan and Turin. Three convoys departing from Milan and having their destination were also cancelled NapoliRome and Salerno. A train departing from Naples to Milan and another from Turin to Rome were also cancelled.
