It was expensive for show-loving drivers who filmed the scene of the accident on the E6 on Friday morning.
At 05.43, the Police in Øst reported that a trailer had skidded and was standing across the E6 in Son, in the direction of Moss.
– It is still there. There is routing on site, and the traffic will flow past in one lane, operations manager Ronny Samuelsen told VG a couple of hours later.
Just after 09.00 the entire road was open to traffic again.
Four were fined
Samuelsen says that some dangerous situations arose in connection with the incident.
– Four drivers have been given simplified notices because they filmed the scene of the accident as they passed. It is strongly recommended that you focus on the road and traffic image, and not the mobile phone.
The filming resulted, among other things, in one of the drivers running down a police patrol.
New rates
On 1 February this year, the fine rates increased by 30 per cent.
The change means, among other things, that if you are caught using a hand-held mobile phone while driving, you must fork out NOK 9,700.
