After L’Amour ouf by Gilles Lellouche, L’Amour ouf, and its already more than 3 million admissions, another ambitious film in sight for Adèle Exarchopoulos! She is the headliner of a surprising French science fiction project: Planète B! The trailer has just been revealed.
A prison dystopia
Directed by Aude-Léa Rapin (Heroes Never Die), the feature film is described as an SF prison dystopia, the film will introduce us to Julia Bombarth, 30 years old, played by Adèle Exarchopoulos.
The story is set in Grenoble, in 2039. The synopsis describes a collapse in progress. Youth, in turmoil. Everywhere, activists are taking up arms to sabotage, break and burn the symbols of a resigned state. One night, activists suddenly disappear.
Julia finds herself among them and wakes up in an unknown world. This is a new kind of prison universe developed by the French police to re-educate its youth, under the guise of democracy: Planet B.
