Trail Ultra, here is the new e-bike supplied to the Carabinieri

Even the Arma dei Carabinieri focuses strongly on sustainable mobility, and thanks to the Italian FIVE it will be able to “whiz” through the streets with a brand new pedal assisted bicycle. The police, always attentive and loyal to work, translate their sense of duty also at an environmental level with the e-bike presented in recent days.

The model supplied will be Trail Ultra, among the fast, safe and well-equipped electric bikes on the market. Produced in the Bolognese factory of the Italwin brand, the Arma e-bike was born on the basis of the company’s top trekking range. Specifically, by analyzing the characteristics of the electric two-wheeler, the aluminum frame and the 75 mm front suspension fork make the vehicle suitable for all terrains.

After having redone the four-wheeled look with the Nissan Leaf, the Arma welcomes the new e-bike entirely built in Italy. Equipped with wide-tread tires, hydraulic disc brakes and a 10-speed gearbox, the electric bike can count on a 630 Wh lithium-ion heart which powers the second generation FIVE F90 engine. The latter interacts with a 3.5-inch backlit multifunction LCD display installed on the handlebar, giving the vehicle a technological equipment that will help patrol officers to better monitor the performance of the vehicle. Five levels of assistance available and a battery capable of ensuring awide autonomy to cover long distances which will allow carrying out the operations of the Carabinieri Command for Forest Protection.

Furthermore, the new Trail Ultra was entirely customized with dark blue colors with red stripes, stickers with the words “Carabinieri” and contacts with the police. The first stocks, which arrived at the end of 2020, were used to maintain the logic of proximity to the citizen, ensuring that the weapon can reach all the paths where ordinary roads on four wheels cannot reach.

The Trail Ultra e-bike will allow the Carabinieri to patrol paths that have not been reached up to now

Fabio Giatti, CEO of the FIVE group that gave birth to the e-bike, said he was enthusiastic: “It is a reason for us to great pride having created this product in collaboration with the Carabinieri, which chooses to focus on electric mobility through the provision of an e-bike entirely produced in Italy ”.
