Tragicomedy about One Return to His Hometown: A Review of Přemysl Ruto’s Druhé mládí Kašpara Junga

In November 1989, Kašpar Jung returned to his native Kutná Lhota from emigration. His suitcase is full of letters from his father and his head is full of nostalgic memories. It soon becomes clear that the contents of the letters are a little different, the memories become somewhat cloudy and his future will be a little more complicated than he ever thought across the ocean. Petr Kostka, Jaroslava Obermaierová, Stanislav Zindulka, Blanka Bohdanová, Ivan Řezáč and others act in Přemysl Ruto’s tragicomedy about one return to his hometown.
