The Egyptian director, Tamer Karam, announced the death of the child, the artist, Raby Ahmed, and his father, in a traffic accident with their car.
Karam published a picture of the child, Rabi, and wrote on his Facebook page: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. With a sad heart wracked by pain, I mourn the death of the innocent child artist, Rabbi Ahmed, and his respected father, Ahmed, who died in a traffic accident.”
He added, “We pray to God, the Most High, the Great, to cover them with the abundance of His mercy, and to make Paradise their portion, and we count them among the martyrs with God.”
A source close to the family of the child, Rabi, revealed that the accident took place on Dabaa Road, where he was accompanied by his father and mother on vacation in the northern coastal region.
The child, Raby Ahmed, caught the audience’s attention after participating in some theatrical works, including A Toy Story at the Grand Thebes Theatre, and he embodied the character of Sponge Bob in the play Toy Story and also participated in some advertisements.
The child participated in many artworks alongside the stars of art, including the artist Bayoumi Fouad, and other artists.
