A 44-year-old man from Lozenets committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the Burgas UMBAL, reported the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Von Tuesday afternoon he drove his car and ended up in the sea near a restaurant next to the Fisherman’s Harbor in the village of Lozenets.
He was taken to hospital with head injuries. Shortly after, however, the man jumped from the sixth floor of the health facility.
The incident in Lozenets took place around 2:25 p.m. in the port area. Due to excessive speed and loss of control, crashed alone, falling off a cliff onto a rocky seashore, l.a. “Peugeot 307”, with Burgas registration, driven by a 44-year-old man from Lozenets.
The driver received a head injury and lacerations on his hands. He was transported to UMBAL Burgas, where he was placed for treatment in the “Second Surgery” department.
Around 6:10 p.m., the Burgas Emergency Medical Service received a message that a 44-year-old man from Lozenets, admitted for treatment shortly after -early.
He was taken to the Emergency Center of UMBAL – Burgas, but despite the medical assistance provided to him, he died.
It became clear that the patient, using the short interval of time from his placement in the room, while he was alone, and his relatives assisted in drawing up the admission documentation, jumped from the window of the hospital room.
His body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The man suffered from cancer.
