Tragic Shooting in Brooklyn Subway Leaves One Dead: Latest News

A man died after being shot in a subway car in the Crown Heights area of ​​Brooklyn on Sunday night.

The New York police reported that the armed attack occurred at 8:15 p.m. at the Franklin Avenue – Medgar Evers College station.

According to official information, the police found the victim shot in the back and another in the neck aboard a car on the 3 train heading to Manhattan.

First responders took the 45-year-old man to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It was not reported what would have triggered the attack or if it was a direct attack against the subject.

The NYPD identified the victim as Richard Henderson, a Brooklyn resident.
