A school bus carrying 22 children was involved in a serious, fatal collision in the New York City town of Webster on Wednesday afternoon. The driver of a car and his dog died instantly.
While returning from a school trip, the Wayne County Central School bus was involved in a collision with a car after a 73-year-old driver failed to obey a stop sign.
Upon impact, the bus and car burst into flames, according to information from the New York Post.

Fortunately, the students and two adults rushed out of the bus before it fully burst into flames.
The driver of the car involved in the accident and his dog died. A student and an adult on the school bus were transported to a hospital.
Children with minor injuries were treated on scene by emergency services.
