– Relatives have been notified and are now being looked after by the municipality’s crisis team here in Vestre Toten municipality, says Berg.
The offense is now blocked. Forensic technicians are working at the site throughout the evening and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch will probably arrive at the site early on Tuesday, says Jørgen Berg in the police.
Witness on the spot
Jørgen Berg in the police said that witnesses at the airport both saw and heard the plane go down, and quickly alerted the police.
It must have been an acro plane that crashed, and the accident site must be approximately one kilometer south of the airstrip at Reinsvoll. The police have cordoned off the crime scene.
Berg also says that this must have been a private flight, but they still do not know more about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
– Forensic technicians and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch will gradually start the work to get the dead out and carry out the investigations we think are necessary in order to possibly clarify the cause of the accident, says Berg.
The police have previously reported that a no-drinking zone was established in connection with the accident. This started at position 60.6691° N 10.5699° E / 32W 585785 6726957. The zone was 5 nautical miles and 3500 feet.
Operations manager Bjaanes told NRK, after 20:00, that the plane crashed in an area with forest and marsh.

The police send resources there: rescue helicopter, air ambulance and police helicopter.

– Serious accident
It was only at 19.17 that the police reported that they were investigating a possible pilot in the area of Reinsvoll airport. Emergency services and several helicopters were on their way, the police reported at the time.
Ten minutes later, the police reported that they had located a smaller plane that had crashed south of the airport. The air ambulance was then on the scene.
Åge Ensrud is deputy manager of Reinsvoll Airport. At around 19.40 he confirmed to NRK that a plane had gone down in the forest.
– Emergency services have located the plane. I don’t know what kind of plane this is. It is far too early to say. We are also not sure who was on the plane, said Ensrud.
