Angus Cloud never aspired to a career in front of the camera. The actor’s role as Fezco “Fez” O’Neill on the HBO series Euphoria helped the actor achieve smash hits. A few hours ago, however, sad news made the rounds: the young star died at the age of just 25. A promising acting career was predicted for the native Californian. And that despite the fact that Angus got his role in the US hit series quite by accident.
Before he landed his first big acting job, his life was very different. As Mirror reports, he never planned to appear in front of the camera himself. For his role in “Euphoria”, which finally made his breakthrough possible, Angus did not audition of his own free will. On the contrary, while he was still working in a restaurant, he was literally spotted on the street by a talent scout. “I was confused and didn’t want to give her my phone number. I thought it was a scam,” he told GQ in 2019.
Just last year, Angus spoke to The Face magazine about his life as a celebrity – and how it’s affecting him. When asked if he just wanted to be “normal,” the actor agreed, saying he didn’t like “being special.” “I don’t like fame to be honest,” he admitted.
