Cristiano Ronaldo announced that one of his newborn twins had died. The Portuguese footballer Manchester United and his partner Georgina Rodríguez said on the social networks that the boy had died and that the birth of a baby girl gave them strength in a difficult situation.
“We have the deepest grief to announce that our boy has died,” said Ronaldo and Rodriguez. Ronaldo informed last October that the couple was expecting twins.
“It is the greatest pain a parent can experience. Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to experience this moment with some hope and happiness,” added the 37-year-old Portuguese.
With Rodríguez, Ronaldo had already raised four children, one in common, Alan’s daughter, born in 2017. In June of the same year, Ronald’s surrogate mother gave birth to twins, Mate and Eva. The oldest descendant of the five-time Golden Ball holder is Cristiano Jr., who was born in the USA in 2010 to a woman whose identity has not been revealed.
