Two minibuses collided in Hesse on Sunday night: two people died, two are in mortal danger.
Two people died in a head-on collision between two minibuses in Bürstadt. Two other people were critically injured, police said early Sunday morning. For reasons that are not yet known, the two vehicles collided head-on on the federal highway 47 on Saturday evening.
Several occupants trapped in their vehicles
The 57-year-old driver and the 48-year-old passenger in one car were fatally injured in the accident. The driver (32) and the passenger (29) in the other car suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Due to the force of the impact, all those involved in the accident were trapped in their vehicles except for the 29-year-old. The four accident victims come from the district of Bergstrasse. The B47 was completely blocked.
