A woman and her teenage daughter and a dog were found dead in an apartment in a building in Brooklyn, according to police reports.
The 37-year-old mother had injuries to her face and head due to the stabbing and the 14-year-old girl was hit in the head.
Police were called shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday to an apartment on New York Avenue near Avenue D in East Flatbush, according to authorities.
The two victims would have died hours or days before their bodies were found, according to police sources.
At the moment there are no arrests or more details about the type of weapons and the identity of the victims.
The investigation continues.
