In Vienna-Meidling, a 28-year-old jumped from the fourth floor of his apartment on Thursday evening and died. The police were alerted after loud noises were reported coming from the apartment.
On November 9th, police officers in Vienna-Meidling were alerted at around 6 p.m. because a 28-year-old, who had recently been in a psychiatric facility but had not returned there, was allegedly staying at his home address. According to a neighbor, loud noises could be heard from the 28-year-old’s apartment.

The apartment door was opened by WEGA officers. At the same time, the 28-year-old is believed to have jumped out of a window in the fourth floor apartment onto the street. The officers present immediately took resuscitation measures, but an emergency doctor could only declare death.
The 28-year-old’s apartment was completely destroyed
According to the police, the man’s apartment was found very trashed. The living room table was smashed and shards were scattered throughout the living room. Narcotic drugs and items used for drug consumption were confiscated.
It is now also being determined whether the jump was an accident or a suicide. Witnesses would also be questioned.
