On Friday, October 20th, a 75-year-old man, his 73-year-old wife and a dog were found lifeless in a single-family home in Kempen. A homicide squad from the Mönchengladbach police has started the investigation.
Because a witness was worried about his neighbors, he entered the family home around 5 p.m. and found the couple lifeless. He informed the police via emergency call.
Due to the situation where they were found, all three suffered gunshot wounds, the suspicion of a homicide followed by suicide arises.
The homicide squad’s investigations and crime scene recordings are ongoing.
