NEW YORK — A 10-year-old girl died Tuesday morning after being hit by a subway train in Manhattan, the New York City Police announced.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 6:39 am at the station. Roosevelt Ave y 74th Street. The minor, who was hit by an E line train, was found with trauma to her body and unconscious after the uniformed officers received an emergency call.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details were released about how the minor ended up on the train tracks or who she was accompanied with.
So far no crime is suspected and authorities are investigating the case.
