Thiruvananthapuram ∙ A woman and her baby who gave birth at home in Karaikkamandapat have died. Shamina, a native of Poontura, also died. He died on the way to the hospital due to bleeding.

It is reported that it was the family’s decision to give birth at home. The delivery started at 3 pm on Tuesday. The baby partially came out but then got stuck and started bleeding.
Efforts to get the baby out continued at home till 5.30 pm. The woman was admitted to a private hospital in the city around 6 o’clock. The woman and the baby died before reaching the hospital. Nemam police registered a case and started investigation.
