Raymond Rattray, a NYC resident and SUNY New Paltz student, was dramatically killed at age 22 by a hit-and-run driver while walking home from college.
Rattray, who He was also a rugby player, was struck while walking on the shoulder of the southbound lane of Route 208 shortly after 5 pm Tuesday in New Paltz, an Ulster County town located 88 miles north of New York City.
Police discovered his body approximately 20 feet from the road. near Hawk Drive and Cross Creek Road a day later, Wednesday afternoon, reported ABC News.
