At least three people died in the night on Sunday due to a large fire in an apartment complex in the southern French city of Grasse.
Eighteen people were also injured. One of them is in serious condition.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. in the stairwell of a five-story building. The building is located in the center of the city.
The fire brigade deployed seventeen fire trucks and fifty people to fight the fire. The fire was under control around 6 a.m.
