The fact is that after the New Year’s fairy tale, she starred in only four films. Filonova did not have a punchy character, and directors did not always notice her, giving preference to more persistent artists.

And the screen star was forced to get a job at the post office. She delivered letters; her salary was barely enough to live on. And one day doctors diagnosed her with cancer. Filonova tried to fight the terrible disease, but could not and died at the age of 44.
