Five members of a family were found dead in Songpa-gu, Seoul and Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, and the police began an investigation.
Songpa Police Station in Seoul was dispatched at around 7:30 a.m. on the 23rd after receiving a report that A, a woman in her 40s, had fallen from an apartment complex in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu.
Mr. A was found in cardiac arrest and taken to the hospital, but died.
While the police were investigating the circumstances of Mr. A’s accident, Mr. A’s husband, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law were found dead in a villa in Songpa-dong, Songpa-gu.
Then, Mr. A and his wife’s teenage daughter was found dead at a hotel in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Police are investigating the cause and circumstances of their deaths and are investigating whether there is a connection between the deaths.
