Tragic Drowning Accident Claims Life of Young Petroleum Engineering Graduate in Dakahlia

A young graduate of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering and a resident of the village of Al-Daraksa, Minya Al-Nasr Center, Dakahlia Governorate, drowned in an accident while he was on his way with his family to attend a wedding.

Major General Marwan Habib, Director of Dakahlia Security, had received a notification from Major General Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Director of Criminal Investigations, stating that a report had been received by the sheriff of Minyat al-Nasr Police Station, that a car had fallen in Canal al-Bashmour within the area of ​​the center.

Officers of the Investigation Unit of the Minyat al-Nasr police station moved to the location of the report, and the examination revealed that the car (No. DQB 8313) had fallen into the Bashmour Canal and its driver, Mahmoud Muhammad Musaad al-Mutwali, 25 years old, an engineer, a resident of the village of al-Daraksa, Minyat al-Nasr Center, graduated from the College of Petroleum Engineering.

It turned out that the deceased was heading to attend a wedding party in his own car and was accompanied by his father, mother and brother in the village of Kafr Abu on the Dekernes center, and during his walk the steering wheel was misplaced in his hand and they all fell into the waters of the canal and were rescued except for the deceased.

The necessary record of the incident was drawn up and the Public Prosecution Office, which initiated the investigations, was notified.

It is noteworthy that Engineer Mahmoud offered his graduation certificate for sale some time ago on his personal page on social networking sites, after he failed to obtain a job in his specialty.
