A stupid bet led to tragedy.
Sam Bollard had no idea that his life could change in one minute. A 19-year-old young man was quietly spending time with friends in the courtyard of his house. Suddenly the guys noticed a strange slug and began to lazily engage in a playful argument about who would agree to eat the insect and for what reward.
Sam refused any amount and simply decided to demonstrate his own courage. The young man resolutely ate the slug.
