Terrible incident on a beach in Cartagena (Colombia). A mother of 2 died on the spot after being struck by lightning.
Froilanis Roman, 34, was walking on the beach during a family vacation when she was struck by lightning.
According to authorities, she died of cardiorespiratory arrest after medical teams failed to help her.
Hours before her death, authorities in Cartagena issued a severe weather warning and warned citizens to take precautions. The deceased was a citizen of Venezuela.

The woman was identified as Froilanis Maireth Rivas Román.
