The man who was found dead on Saturday morning in a rough area in Preståsen in Porsgrunn, is said to have fallen down a steep slope.

– The man had been on a trip with friends on Friday evening, but got away from the group on the way home.
The deceased was in his mid-30s and lived in the Grenland area.
– There were some friends on the trip. They burned a fire in a natural area near the city. On the way home, one of them got away from the entourage and probably fell in a rough area, says police lawyer Christian Ytterbø to VG.
The man was reported missing by a friend just after midnight. The police then launched a search operation with patrols, volunteers, a dog, a drone and a helicopter.
At 09.30 on Saturday, the man was found dead near an industrial area, not far from where the tour group had stayed the night before.
– We consider it an accident, but the deceased has been sent for an autopsy to get final clarity on the cause of death, says Ytterbø.
