Mourning in the world of Neapolitan entertainment: the actor died at the age of 38 Andrea Iovino. A sudden disappearance, the causes of which are not yet known.
He played a role in the Pinocchio by Matteo Garrone, but many remember him above all for his participation on TV in the Rai 2 comedy program Made in Sud and in the talent show broadcast on Canale 5 Tu si Que Vales.
Iovino had also worked in the theatre, in the show ‘Masaniello Revolution’ by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter Sal Da Vinci on stage last year at the Augusteo theater in Naples.
The announcement came from family members. “Just and honest man” we read on the funeral poster announcing his death. Andrea’s brother Giovanni is also an actor and the two have also worked together several times, including in Garrone’s film.
Tomorrow afternoon the funeral will be held in Nola, the city where the actor was originally from, with a ceremony in the city cemetery.
