Fernando Perez Algaba, influencer popular crypto from Argentina, found tragically dead. Police found Perez’s body in a bag near a river in Ingeniero Budge, Buenos Aires.

The influencer, who often flaunts a luxurious lifestyle to nearly one million followers on Instagram, was reported missing since July 19. At that time, he did not return the keys to the apartment he rented.
The news of Perez’s death was shocking because of his condition. According to reports, the children who were playing in the ball field saw a red suitcase near the river. When police investigated, they found dismembered body parts identified as Perez because of his tattoos.
Police also found the 41-year-old man’s remains in another bag. An autopsy revealed that he died from gunshot wounds before his body was mutilated, which was probably done by a professional killer.
Police have arrested a suspect. The motive behind the killing is unclear, but authorities suspect the influencer was killed in connection with a large debt.
His brother, Rodolfo, said that Algaba was experiencing financial problems due to the fall in the value of cryptocurrencies and tax debts in Argentina.
Perez likes to flaunt a lavish lifestyle and claims to have struggled from scratch. He founded a luxury jet ski and car rental company in Miami before moving to Barcelona. LaluA lgaba is involved in cryptocurrency trading from an office in Buenos Aires with about 25 employees.
However Algaba left a note on his phone claiming he lost a lot of money investing in crypto. Algaba is also reportedly in debt to a violent gang in Argentina.
His brother Rodolfo calls Algaba just an ordinary car entrepreneur who is out of luck in the crypto world. He also received an inheritance as business capital. Rodolfo hopes that the authorities will catch his brother’s killer.
“I have been here for three days and barely sleep thinking how this could have happened. But I will not sit idly by, I will not do justice into my own hands, but I hope justice will be served,” he said.
