Ottawa: A family of three members of Indian origin has died under mysterious circumstances. The incident took place in Ontario, Canada. The deceased have been identified as Rajeev Variko (51), Shilpa Kotha (47) and Mahek Variko (16).
The death of the three was caused by a fire in the house where the family lived. But the police say that there is a mystery as to how the fire broke out in the house.
Neighbors first informed the police about the fire. By the time the police and other forces reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire, the house was already well burnt.
It was not even possible to understand how many people were inside. Only the remains of the dead bodies were left in the fire. So it was not even possible to confirm how many people died at first. Later it became clear that three members of the family had died.
Police have registered a case and started investigation. The family had been living here for about 15 years. Neighbors have informed that they are not aware of any other problems.
