A 60-year-old grandmother died after suffering a heart attack after jumping from bungee jumping. He jumped from a height of 8 meters in a South Korean mall.
Reporting from Independent, Tuesday (27/2/2024) when she fell, this grandmother, whose identity was not revealed, was wearing safety equipment. In the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police report, the incident occurred on Monday (26/2) at around 16.20 local time.
This unfortunate incident occurred because the carabiner clip that connects the rope to the beam or crane was damaged. So the bungee cord came loose and the grandmother’s body crashed onto the concrete floor.
This grandmother was immediately rushed to the hospital, but could not be helped. After receiving cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation assistance, he was declared dead after 1 hour of falling.
The police will carry out further investigations regarding this terrible incident.
This bungee jumping facility is at Starfield Anseong Mall in Gyeonggi province, South Korea. Bungee jumping has become one of the most popular attractions since the mall opened in 2020.
This mall does have various sports facilities, one of which is bungee jumping and climbing.
